GutzandGlory wins Young Competition Cyber

Our very own Kevin (Put) and Maarten (Baert) are the proud winners of IAB‘s and MM‘s Young Competition Cyber that took place last week. They have been selected to represent Belgium at the Cannes Lions in June, were they will partake in the international Young Competition Cyber.

This year’s mission was to come up with a creative idea to promote the IAB Community, within a very limited time span of 24 hours. The jury of creative directors and digital experts was convinced of Kevin and Maartens creative solution.

In brief, the main idea is that we want the IAB Community to present itself as a solution to the overload of false information, articles, comments and opinions on digital media on the internet. To avoid relying on incorrect information, we have to put our trust in specialists. The creative concept telling this story will soon be revealed, and will probably be deployed through conversation management and interactive bannering.

sp.a Kicks off 2012 communal election campaign

Last weekend, our client sp.a launched its 2012 campaign for the communal and provincial elections. The campaign concept and the campaign contents, the party point of view, intertwine: sp.a chose not to use a national campaign headline, because of the specific needs of every town or city. The campaign is entirely focused on the local candidate. The creative concept emphasizes this by referring to the “social” network. Graphically, the candidates are juxtaposed and presented as close to the elector, with their locally selected campaign themes amidst them.

All national media (VRT, Knack, Het NieuwsbladVTM, De Standaard and many more) covered the event. We supported the launch speech with a flash application showing all theme slogans (to be adapted locally), the theme icons (or “sp.apps”) and the candidates in the campaign photography style; natural and close to the consumer. All attendees to the congress day were photographed as they arrived, their pictures appearing in the “social network grid” merely an hour later. The local campaigns will start-up as of now, implementing the tools and the concept as created by GutzandGlory.

GutzandGlory  set up an elaborate campaign manual for the 2012 elections, with template applications for each town and throughout different media, including the activation and pre-campaigning for the different communal party subdivisions.

Sp.a christmas rose

A very first and small outcome of our new partnership with sp.a, the Flemish socialist party, was the 2011-2012 Christmas Card for sp.a – West-Vlaanderen. Its cover concept is a subtle interpretation of the party logo, the rose. Christmas tree needles did the rest.

New brand identity for Vancia Car Lease

Early this month we launched the new brand identity and logo for Vancia Rent, turning it into Vancia Car Lease. Vancia is one of the top-ten Belgian car lease companies, and is still growing. Integrating the new baseline (Lease is more), we position Vancia Car Lease as a fresh challenger with a focus on service. In a few weeks the new campaign images will appear, but below you can already see the winter print ad. A new website will appear soon as well. You can check out the current one here.
