The Last Telegram
The end of the year … A time to look back and send out your best wishes. In 2017 we combined the two with ‘The Last Telegram’ as our end-of-year mailing.
After more than 170 years of loyal service, one of the oldest communication meanswas nearing its end: the telegram. Proximus – the successor of public telephone and telegraph corporation RTT – terminated the service on the 29th of December 2017.
At Gutzandglory we cherish all forms of communication and therefore - to give the telegram a nice send-off - we offered our business contacts the opportunity to send one of the 100 last Belgian telegrams ever.
On a dedicated website visitors could type up and send a unique Gutzandglory-edition telegram, numbered and signed by the operator, to a recipient of their choice. By doing so visitors didn’t just write a telegram, they got the opportunity to write history.
